We want to invite you to get out on the farm with us! Here are a few opportunities coming up:
Looking for something fun to do this afternoon?? Come out and join us on the farm right now for our Annual Summer Celebration! It is happening right now, today, Saturday July 9, from 12-3pm!
The Raving Gamer will be serving up delicious pizza (with A Rocha veggies on top!), and Kara's Crepes will be wowing us with delectable crepes! There will also be lawn games, guided tours, face painting, music, popcorn, and a whole lot of veggies and flowers for purchase.
This year the TA'TALU Festival will also be a part of our Summer Celebration, with live music, speakers, and more (see schedule of festival events here). So, come on out!
And next weekend, on Saturday July 16th, we will be hosting a Farm Tour and Potluck with Young Agrarians! I will be leading a tour the farm, and there will be opportunities to meet our farm team, network with other farmer-types, and enjoy a potluck meal. The event is free and open to everyone (minus furry friends), learn more and register here! We would love to have some of our CSA community out joining us for this event!
The Young Agrarians are an awesome non-profit in Canada who support new and young farmers by providing educational resources, help with land access, community networking and more. I am currently a mentee in their young farmer mentorship program and have been so thankful for the rich support, training and community it is providing!
