It's here! So excited to share the season's harvest with you all.
THE HARVEST:
Arugula, Spinach, Kale, Lettuce, Garlic scapes. Also local asparagus (South Jersey local, NOT 500 miles "local"!) and pick-your-own strawberries for purchase (as available). A look ahead... more greens next week, radish and kohlrabi. We could use some rain and heat to help the crops along like carrots, beets and broccoli. Fields are looking good and catching up.
FARM SHOP PROTOCOLS:
- 1st, Pickup Your Share. All shares pre-bagged. Tell us your name and we will hand it to you. At this time, we are not having open "market style" bins of produce for self serve. GIFT CARDS? If eligible, they will be with your bag and can be used towards extras at checkout.
- 2nd, Purchase Your Extras. If yes, this will be a separate line. If no, you can exit the share pickup line and not have to enter the barn. We are not taking pre-orders for extras. We will have fresh inventory weekly; kindly purchase as you need and allow others an opportunity to purchase items. We hope everyone self regulates, we do not want to set limits. Our vendors will do their best to meet the demand.
- 3rd, Checkout Purchases. Exit the barn, the registers will be outside. We are keeping traffic in barn to a minimum and the line moving along outside.
- Follow signs for entering and exiting. One way in, one way out. We have social distancing markers and extra signage as well.
- Masks required.
