The temperatures are starting to feel a little more Fall-sh, and we are enjoying them very much as we plant the fall and winter transplants and harvest winter squash and pumpkins.
Along with your share pick up this week we will have a variety of pumpkins set up at our farm stand you are welcome to purchase and enjoy at home.We love using them for decoration, and then later cooking them up into our own pumpkin-y goodness for winter treats. Let's not forget the carving fun! We have Jack's that will be great for that purpose also.
It turns out that next week will likely be BABY WEEK. With that comes less work for the wife, as she recovers, and a bigger need for volunteers on Friday to make sure the harvest for CSA and Market gets done. If any of you would like to take advantage of joining us, and completing your work share, next Friday, the 25th, we would surely be grateful!
