Hello from the farm! It has been an interesting week here. If you didn't hear, Tabby had the babies this past week! Thanks to workers and volunteers, you were able to still have your shares delivered last Friday. We couldn't have done it without them – Major props to Jimmy, Deanna, and Sabrina! Tabby is now home and well, and we thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
As for CSA, we've reached the mid-way point of deliveries, which means this is the LAST WEEKLY DELIVERY. October 9 is the next share, and will be every other week till December. That means your share will be a little bigger, as it needs to last you 2 weeks :)
We have been LOVING the fall weather, as have all the fall crops and greens. It is my favorite time of the year. But it is also the busiest time of the year for us. In Spring, we are scrambling to get everything in the ground! In Fall, we're doing the same, but add in all the normal end-of-summer harvesting, too! So it's doubly busy! But, I think we are getting almost set for fall/winter. We plan to fill the tunnel with greens this week, and then breathe! :)
