Good day!
We are waist deep in tomatoes on the farm! If you have any need for canning tomatoes, we have heaps of seconds. You will have access to some of these on friday at the farm pick up. If you want to reserve a large amount for yourself, let us know ahead of time and we can fill a large yellow bin (about 40# of very ready, very second tomatoes) for $20. If you would like the not so second, but imperfect tomatoes, we can fill a bin of about 20# for $20.
This week you will see a couple of new items in your share options, including Cowdery's sweet corn! It is so nice to have other local farmer friends in our community that we can trade and partner with.
As always, we would love to have you out on the farm for a work day. It's a great way to get to know each other better, and really experience first hand where and how your food is grown. We always have a variety of tasks to tackle, for every age group and level of experience. Remember, for a half day's work you receive a $30 coupon for extra goodies of your choice!
