Good morning! We are awfully chilly this AM! And awfully sorry that we are delayed in getting you your list. This is twice this winter... very unlike us. Usually once a year we get behind or i forget or something. But not twice in a month! Sorry! But here it is!
We've been battling the freezes this week, which means covering and uncovering plants to protect them from the cold and frost. I was waiting yesterday morning before making shares, because you have to go out and check to be sure everything made it through. I didn't want to offer items that actually froze the night before. It would seem that everything except the arugula made it fine. It was even colder last night, so we'll see! 16º as we type this. Whoa!
ALSO - for FARM PICKUPS, we are going to begin closing down pickup time at 5:30 instead of 6:00. It gets colder and darker as the season progresses, and we often have 6:00PM family things. So..... if you can make it by 5:30, we would be most thankful. If you absolutely can't get here by 5:30, we can always pack up your share in a box and leave it in the Farm Stand for you to pickup at yur convenience.
