THIS WEEK is the LAST WEEK of the Farm Share for 2024! (Thanksgiving is next week?!? Gulp.)
If you're wondering "But how can we get your products before next May?" here's the answer...
All vegetables that we have to harvest in December through April will be available through our self-serve FarmStand at our farm, the Farmers' Market @ St. Stephens, or at Good Foods Grocery and Ellwood Thompson's. Keep an eye on our Facebook or Instagram feeds for updates.
We sent emails with renewals for 2025 Shares last week. Our current Farm Share software is going out of business and we're switching to a new software. Check your email for a comprehensive message about how to secure your share for 2025.
This week's seasonal loaf is our Cranberry & Pepitas (pumpkin seeds) Loaf. This loaf is spectacular as a sandwich, specifically with turkey (or Tofurkey if you're a Tofurkey person), and also as toast with buttah. The cranberries we mix in are actual whole cranberries - not the sweetened dehydrated things. They give a moist TANG to this loaf that is top notch.
This email is just for Bread Share members so that you can select your loaf variety through this software. You'll get an email like this each week that you have a Bread Share scheduled. Log in here and see your loaf options for this week. We'll default you to a "Seed Loaf" and you can swap that for another variety if you'd like.
Bread Note:
Our breads have ZERO oil or preservatives in them. (We use very old fashioned-style recipes.) They don't have the shelf life of grocery store bread -- they dry out over a few days. Eat it quickly OR freeze or refrigerate in an air-tight bag or container to make it last longer than a couple of days.
General Reminders:
- Same for cooler(s) at pick up locations with any cold items that aren't vegetables (eggs, fermented vegetables, etc...See below for more info.)
- Check out our Pinterest Page for lots of recipe ideas, organized by vegetable.
