Another beautiful sunny day. We have a couple of weeks yet to enjoy these prime summer crops. Once we hit September, the cooler nights will slow down crops like cucumbers and zucchini. Soon you will start to see your fall favorites in the boxes.

Good Morning!
The picture this week is from broccoli planting. We had a few thousand plants that needed to be planted. We will be harvesting this broccoli in the fall. Here is a video showing how the planter works!

It's sweet corn season! This is definitely a summer favorite. Something enjoys the sweet corn as much as we do... Birds!

This morning Mitch and I were going over what is available for the boxes next week. We were talking about beans, tomatoes, sweet corn & blueberries. He said "You can't get much more summer than that!"

What a beautiful week! The cooler temperatures and lower humidity has been so refreshing after the hot temperatures the last few weeks. We do need rain and it looks like there is a good chance over the next few days.
