Mid-Summer Update from Ironwood Farm
June comes crashing to a close, and July kicks off the season of abundance! We're busy, busy trying to keep up with the rapid growth around the farm — weeds, crops, piglets, babies, they all seem to double in size overnight this time of year. Potatoes are just about to flower (so late this year with our chilly, wet spring!) and our storage carrots are going in this week. The fields are starting to pump out so much delicious food — these are the days!!
