Crooked Face Creamery is expanding their offerings! Their mozzarella is made fresh in house, hand stretched, in small batches, it is pasteurized – plain or smoked over Applewood – both available this week! They make their mozzarella from whole Jersey cows milk from Springdale Farm. They're also working on Scamorza – a smoked Mozzarella that’s aged a few weeks. That’s coming soon, stay tuned!
Update from Ironwood Farm
Life on the Farm hasn't slowed down as much as it usually does this winter – for better or worse! We're busy with a big construction project, lots of shoots and micros and planning next season's crops and projects! We're in a big infrastructure push, trying to get better set up to farm for the long haul. We're still in good supply of our root crops and cabbage, and cranking out more and more shoots and micro's each week. Hard to believe that in less than a month we'll start seedling season!! Folks always say "oh winter is so long!".... never long enough in our book!!
