There's no better time to thank all of our Farm Share members for choosing local organic Maine grown food from Daybreak Growers Alliance! We are thankful for all of your support and are looking forward to supplying you with all of the stored up harvest and fresh greens ALL WINTER LONG!
Update from Ironwood Farm
Life here is frozen stiff much earlier than usual, but we aren't complaining. Our fabulous crew hauled in the fall harvest way ahead of schedule and we were able to spend the last week of their time here getting things tidy and organized (a luxury!!!). Our root storage is bursting at the seams with stored sunshine, and the big push that is production season has come to a close. We're almost through our late fall greens in the tunnels, and soon our focus will move towards next year. Overall, the early snow and ice is falling on some very grateful (and tired!) Farmers here at Ironwood.
