Hello Farm Fans -
We hope that your first full week of the new year has started with a bang! Out here on our farms in Churchill County, we are celebrating sunshine! The brighter and longer the days, the quicker the lettuce grows!
This week we are featuring some guest producers! We have topped carrots from farmer Gary Romano at Sierra Valley Farms. Gary is a growing guru, and has written the books to prove it! Once again, we have mandarins and meyer lemons available from Citrus Norte farm. And Farmer Ron is harvesting his first tango lettuce!
If you are a bi-weekly subscriber, we have a second round of Dayton Valley Aquaponics baby ginger. Young ginger has a 100% yield - you don't need to peel it at all--and boy is it tasty!
