It's a gloriously warm harvest season, and the colours are gorgeous. I hope you all get to enjoy some lovely time outdoors this holiday weekend!
We're enjoying bringing in all the winter storage crops with this beautiful weather and what bounteous crops too. It's my favourite time of year for veggies & dip - some sweet peppers, some hakuri, watermelon radish and kohlrabi. Spinach and Napa are back, and the elusive (at least this year) parsley is here too. If anyone likes tucking things away for winter now's a great time to roast up a nice large pumpkin to freeze (over 2kg each this week!), dehydrate some kale, or pickle some peppers.
