Another big week of heavy harvests on the farm this week! We're almost all done bringing in all of our winter squash, and we've rounded the bend on finishing our epic potato harvest. Next week will be all about sweet potatoes which we are so excited to share with you soon! The mornings were chilly a few days this week, and the sun was hidden by clouds (and smoke) up until today. It was such a relief to see the sun. The greens are back in action this week which I'm so excited about - I so miss greens during peak fruiting vegetable season. We hope you enjoy them along with the tail end of summer fruits this week! You can also still add a Fall Dried Herb or Fall Herbal Tea share to your box this week. Stay tuned for more fun stuff in our newsletter this weekend!

About the farm
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and use beyond organic growing practices. By farming with the health of our land and customers as our guide, we ensure you the highest quality and safest produce. We use sustainable growing practices to protect our soil and waterways. We supply our customers in the Baltimore and DC regions with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh.
We founded the farm in June of 2016. We grow vegetables year-round thanks to our two high tunnels. Our farm provides a diversity of crops for our Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash and sweet potatoes.
Our name comes from our shared love of our three dogs, who remind us to live simply and have fun every day.
