Hello Harmony Farm Members!
Exciting new things are happening in the garden again this week:).
New this week we are harvesting celery, zucchini and sorrel.
It will be our first celery harvest of the season so the stalks are not as beefy as they will be later on but they are sweet and delicious. Don't forget to use the leaves in soups, salads and herbs salees (our favourite way to enjoy fresh herb flavour all winter long!).
Sorrel is one of those perennial veggies that you don't often see in the grocery store. It has a deliciously tangy-lemony flavour that brightens up any dish you add it to. Here is a link to some great sorrel recipe ideas: https://www.thekitchn.com/creamy-spinach-and-dill-257165
Our flower garden is coming along but not quite ready for prime time just yet (soon!). In the meantime, if you are longing for something pretty, we are offering some delicate little wildflower bouquets.
Wishing everyone a great week.
