HARVIE FARMS PITTSBURGH: FARM STAND HOME DELIVERY FOR TUESDAY APRIL 14

Posted on April 6th, 2020 by Harvie Admin

Warm greetings! We know these continue to be challenging times. We send all the best wishes to you and your loved ones as we collectively weather this pandemic together. Click here to view our COVID-19 response and our reusable packaging policy.

In good news, Harvie Farms Pittsburgh is back with our next pop-up farm stand home delivery on Tuesday April 14. Use the link below to place your order. Supplies are limited, so we suggest ordering early. We apologize to those of you who have not been able to place orders before we sell out. Each pop-up we add capacity to take more orders--thanks for your patience and understanding. If supplies last, the order period will close by Friday at 7am.

Harvie is sponsoring a 50% coupon for farm boxes to 20 families economically affected by the Corona virus shut down. If that is you, use coupon code: EATWELL50 when you check out. We are happy to pay it forward in this manner and hope that if you have the means to pay it forward in your own communities, you will.

The contents of our Harvie Farms boxes continue to evolve with the changing seasons. Who Cooks for You Farm is spending all of their time preparing fields and planting crops, so they do not have any items this week. However, we added produce from Clarion River Organics, Grow Pittsburgh, Lancaster Farm Fresh, and Franklin Sustainable Farms to help fill your veggie fix.

Jubilee Hilltop was not able to get any pork processed this time, so the meat is limited to beef for now. The pork will be back with our next round of deliveries. And while we have a limit to our number of eggs, we do have a good supply for your orders this time.

We have added some new cheeses to the mix including Hootenanny from Goat Rodeo. Additionally, we are excited to include Red Fife sourdough bread from Mediterra Bakehouse. This will be the primary bread we use in our add-on for our main season farm shares. And for the mushroom lovers out there, we also have a limited supply of organic shiitake and crimini mushrooms grown in Eastern PA.

Be Safe and Eat Well!
