After not having rain for six of the first eight weeks of the 2022 CSA season, we have savored the rain that we received late last week. Literally savored it – sat on the porch and soaked it in kind of thing. It has also been heartening to know that lots of people have been thinking about how the farm was handling the drought – a reminder that this is community-shared agriculture. Seems like a good time to be looking forward to “water” melons – watch for these as a share item in the next couple of weeks.
