Welcome Week #4
This week we will be adding beets from Wheelbarrow Farms, and Basil from Clearwater to our shares just to spice things up a little! We will have 1/4lbs of peas available, not a lot but a taste in this heat they have truly been struggling! The first of our zucchini is coming on strong, and our chard.
The season is progressing rapidly as we plant, weed and harvest! As well as try and get hay in for our livestock! All our summer plantings are in, now comes the winter plantings in the middles of July. Then the harvest builds. We are certainly hoping for rain in the near future, it has been the driest May on record in the region and June hasn't brought much relief.
I hope all is well with everyone as we enjoy the sun, and get outdoors to stretch our legs and play!
