Hello All!
I can't believe it is already week #2 of the Winter CSA! We are almost out of the field, so fun! The planning for next year is already under way, the first seed order was placed on Friday. A couple more meetings and we will wrap up the seed order for the whole 2022 season! We are also trying our hand at some seed saving ourselves! Testing a few varieties this year for next year, the watermelon, squash, zucchini, cukes, and some beans & peas are getting prepared in our greenhouse!
Hoping to start getting the horses back out and fitted up for next season, they always seem to end up with a couple months off during the harvest season! By December we will have wagon rides/sleigh rides weather depending available @ 100$ per family. They will have to be pre-booked for some Saturdays & Sundays, and some week days! I will know shortly once we have our wash and harvest days for the winter figured out!
Don't forget to book your turkeys for Christmas booked from Haywood Farm & Orchard ahead of time!
