Does it feel like Fall?!
What a week we have for you.
There is lettuce again! Whoop Whoop.
And lots of gorgeous green beans, heirloom tomatoes, rainbow chard, celery, leeks, and paw paws in the fruit share!
This is a great week of diversity and late summer favorites.
The end of the yellow squash is near but winter squash is around the bend.
Please pencil in Sunday afternoon, October 23rd to come participate in our Chili Feast member appreciation Festival.
There will be fun and food for the whole family!
Oak Spring provides beverages, cornbread and 2 BIG pots of chili-one vegan, one for the carnivores.
We ask you to bring a dish for the pot luck (the more chili the better but any appetizer or side dish that goes with chili is great) featuring an Oak Spring item and made with as many local ingredients you can find. Your own garden counts!
This is often the most fun eating day of the year.
We take this afternoon to celebrate YOU, our Farm-ily, local food, and like minded folks. It's an event of appreciation for all things that make growing good farm fresh food possible. It's a day you don't want to miss.
I will be sending out a separate invitation so please pencil it in and plan on coming out for a relaxing & fun afternoon on the farm.

Fruit share is one pound of paw paws this week. Always a treat. We will have a few for sale as extras. They are absolutely delicious.
