Hi Friends!
Thank goodness for rain! After working on farm chores all morning and watching the sky it's finally coming down on us this afternoon after quite a long dry spell. It's been a bit of a tricky week between the heat and our electric fence that we use to keep the deer out dying on us. They managed to get in and munch on the swiss chard so it's going to need some time to recover, but everything is fixed and running well again now.
Before the rain we finished getting the garlic harvested and into the barn, and this week we'll definitely have cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and eggplant, welcoming in some nice summer crops at last!
