Hi Friends! We're super grateful for the rain on Thursday - it's going to be a huge help for our field crops and even for things we grow in covered tunnels like the tomatoes and eggplant it helps to have a bit more humidity in the air and soil. Peppers are still growing slower than I'd like but the swiss chard and bush beans are starting to recover from the deer busting through our fence and I'm hopeful we'll be able to include them as options for shares next week.
We're working hard to get late summer/fall crops planted and cultivated now that there's some moisture in the soil. July always takes me by surprise every year and it's hard to believe we're more than halfway through the month and almost halfway through the farm share season (week 7 of 20!). I hope you're all enjoying your shares and are finding harvie easy to use!
