Hi Friends!
There are lots of greens this week as we head into the last four weeks of the season. Alas, our ripe tomatoes are done for the year but we still have plenty of green ones and tomatillos. We also (finally) have some proper hot peppers if you're feeling like making some green tomato/hot pepper jam. It's an unusual variety - sugar rush peach - and the flavor is great.
I dug a little bit of our sweet potato bed this morning to check on them and they look pretty good! We'll finish digging them out next week before it gets too cold and will plan to offer them in the last few shares of the season (along with turnips, carrots, and baby ginger/turmeric).
