Hi Friends, this week is the second to last week for our regular season shares. The greens are looking GREAT in this chilly weather and we'll have plenty of lettuce, salad mix, and arugula to share as well as our harvest of ginger and turmeric (small this year but still tasty and fresh!!).
We're still working on getting things cleaned up on the farm and preparing beds to plant our garlic for next year. If you're driving past this week you'll probably also see some activity in the flower garden next to the road. It's transitioning from a regular field to more of a cutting garden where we'll plant a mix of annual and perennial flowers for bouquets and for pollinators to enjoy. I'll be building some raised beds and reworking the soil a bit to accommodate some nice wood chip paths (where we'll experiment with spreading spawn for oyster mushrooms in the spring!).
We do have a few dozen eggs available this week as add ons, as well as seasonal bouquets of flowers. :)
Stay warm,
Emma, Naomi, & Norah
