Farm Happenings for August 19, 2021

Lots of roots, and the full season veggies are starting to ripen.  All sorts of oranges, yellows and beige are starting to be visible under the thick canopy of the winter squash patch, the sweet corn is full of large, but still immature cobs, the sweet peppers are large, but still green, pulled a few small parsnip and parsley root just to check, and the full, dark green tops of the celeriac are storing up their energy in the beautifully gnarly roots.
