For those of you picking up on Saturday Nov. 30 in Georgetown, and sorry for the back and forth, but...
Pick up at Georgetown Holiday Market, 11am - 3pm at our usual spot, on the corner of Mill and Main st.
Even though the main veggie gardens are shut down, we have fewer animals and are only doing bi weekly harvests, it still feels busy. Cutting greens, hosting Christmas crafters, and making wreaths has been fun, catching up on neglected maintenance projects, feeding cows, cleaning the barns, fence repairs and planning for next year are also in full swing. And though I have loved this wonderfully mild weather, I see some colder temperatures in the forecast, which will put an end to many of the greens still surviving outside in the garden, though, thankfully the greens in the hoop house are looking pretty nice!
I mentioned in the last email that we would include some of our favourite local items made by super lovely people. We have been giving these items to friends and family for the last few years, and thought to give you some variety if you want to try.
We also continue to host people who want to make their own wreaths, pots or swags. We have had a few lovely groups come already and I hope they are enjoying their creations. So if you want to flex your creative muscles, try wreath or swag making, kids are welcome too :).
