Hello there,
We just had a busy weekend helping my little sister get married, so hopefully every one received their shares okay. Now we are playing a little bit of catch up, but I am excited about our first Butcher box delivery going out this week.
If you signed up for the butcher box this month, you are in for a treat. Lots of goodies great for slow cooking in the house on a cold day, or grilling on the BBQ on a hot summer afternoon. This box will be beef heavy, but the next month's box will have more chicken, then Aug should have lots of pork as our critters grow and develop out in their pastures. We are also picked up the baby turkeys this week, which are my favourite. These elegant little ostrich looking babies are the cutes little fluffs you've ever seen. Ducks and chicks have nothing on day-old Turkeys.
We also have some peonies really starting to go around the property, this year we are grew our cut flower space a little bit, so stay tuned for sunflowers, dahlias and lots of other beautiful blooms to come.
