Hi everyone,
When I think about Mothers' Day, I think about flowers, not veggies. It seems serendipitous then that this week, one volunteer sunflower from discarded micro greens seed bloomed on the west bank (see photo) and that we turned two veggie beds in the Bywater into flower beds for pollinators. Must be something floral in the air right now.
On the veggie front, the pickling cukes and summer squashes continue to roll in. We're adding more beets and radishes (they're back!) from Compostella in with our offerings as well. In our extras section, Insanitea Kombuchas and kimchi are back, along with Johndale blueberries, Jamboree Jams, and BeetsNThyme fresh pastas. And Mycelium Express oyster mushrooms are back this week too.
We hope your Mothers' Day is filled with flowers and veggies this year.
