This is the last week of our farm share before our summer hiatus! We're starting to turn beds over to cover crop to rest them for the summer. It's been a long, challenging spring and we're about ready for a rest ourselves.
This final share is loaded with all the summer goodies. We have slicing tomatoes from Poché Family Farm, lots of pickling cukes, okra, eggplant, peppers (including our first round of hot peppers), and the last of the squash. There's also a lot of beautiful head lettuce, butter and romaine, that are still kicking out there. The herbs, scallions, and garlic are still rolling in too. Lots of gorgeous colors and flavors to send you into the summer.
In the extras section, stock up on Poché blackberries, Local Cooling eggs, mushrooms, VEGGI tofu, and the last of the pickles, hot sauces, and jams.
Finally, there's a possibility we may do a pop-up Farm Stand the following week (week of June 21st) if we have a lot more of anything before we officially shut down. We'll keep you posted about that!
Thank you for being a part of our farm share this season. We loved growing food for you and we'll be back in the fall!
