We're Back!
The fall season is just beginning and we're excited to start feeding you! We took the month of July off and enjoyed some time in the Northeast with our families. When we got back to New Orleans in early August, we hit the ground running so we could get our farm share back in action as soon as possible. We weren't sure if the weather was going to be on our side, but things have mostly pushed through the heat, the heavy rain, and then the lack of rain. We've got a pretty decent selection for you this week and we look forward to even more variety as the season progresses.
We still have some summer crops coming in along with fresh greens and herbs from our fields. We'll be including Compostella's super high quality salad greens all season long. This week we're also rounding out our farm share with tomatoes, a few eggplants, sweet potatoes, and red potatoes from Indian Springs Farmer Co-operative. Our friends at Local Cooling Farms are supplying us with eggs again (woohoo!) and Mycelium Express has a couple varieties of mushrooms for y'all to try.
