Hi everyone,
This was an exciting week at the farm with the addition of two new apprentices and a workshop today. We're enjoying getting to know our new crew and sharing information about farming with aspiring growers, including our apprentices and other participants of the Grow Louisiana program. There's a big demand for opportunities to learn about sustainable agriculture, and we're pleased to be part of cohort that's involved in putting on workshops and webinars about growing in the New Orleans area.
This week, our share includes an assortment of greens (us and Compostella), peppers (Faust Farm), squash (Indian Springs), and more. Plus eggs from Local Cooling Farm and oyster mushrooms from Mycelium Express. We're still waiting for confirmation about tofu, so if you don't see it, check back on Saturday.
