This is a big week here at the farm. Why? Because our delicious, super special hot sauce is back! Cheryl's parents are back in town and they spent a rainy day this past week cranking out hot sauce with our frozen hot peppers from this summer. These aren't your grandma's Crystal hot sauce either. Honey Hot is spicy, sweet, and tangy (and contains rum - yum yum) and Caribbean Mango Curry is fruity, spicy, and packed with flavor. They're more like delicious sauces that happen to be spicy.
Also of note, we have lots of microgreens right now (they all grew at once after the freeze), so we marked down the bulk options for Tuesday's share. Lastly, friend of the farm and onigirazu maker extraordinaire, Colin from the Lost Line, is packing up his sushi rice and fancy knives and moving to Portland. This will be the last week we're carrying his onigirazu in our share, and his last pop-up at the farm will be on Saturday. We are missing him already.
Strawberries, eggs, and tofu are all back on the extras list, and we're glad to have most of Compostella's baby greens options back in the share as well.
