It feels like summer has just begun and we are already making way for fall. It is time once again to sow seeds for broccoli, carrots, beets, and spinach. As we approach August the days grow shorter and plant growth begins to wane. That being said, you can look forward to a bounty of warm season foods like cucumbers, sweet peppers, zucchini, and tomatoes. It is our hope that you may even see sweet corn and melons in your boxes!
A special note on the compostable produce bags. We have discovered that they are a detriment to the greens, making them wilt prematurely. Going forward we will have to switch back to the non-compostable bags for salad mix, spinach, and chard. We apologize for any lost product that may have occurred on your end from this!
