It's garlic season! We pulled 6500 garlic heads from the field last week which means you'll get the first taste of the freshest garlic. Now we are working diligently to bunch and hang the garlic in the barn for curing. A special note on the garlic in your box: because it is very fresh and full of moisture, please place the garlic out in the open air at room temperature to prevent mildew from forming on the outside. You can leave the garlic head out like this and it will keep for months. Once garlic is fully cured you can even place it in the fridge where it will easily last until next summer.
Fingers crossed for tomatoes next week!!
