We finally got all 500 tomatoes pruned and strung inside the greenhouses. Hopefully by August they will be six feet tall and loaded with bright red juicy tomatoes. Just in time for BLT season. The potatoes are ready for a hilling and the corn is already knee high, ahead of the fourth of July. This week's box will once again have garlic scapes in it. We pick this flowering curly cue off the plant so that it encourages the garlic bulb to fill out. This means the big garlic harvest is right around the corner! We will switch up the kale this week to a purple "curly" kale. Enjoy those cancer fighting phytochemicals!!
