Yes, It's Winter, but spring is just around the corner
The farm is of course shut down for the winter months.
We'll be starting back up the first week of March with bed prep and some early season seeding.

It's all coming to an end....Week #10 Final Week
Yep that's right! Next week is #10 and the final week of the season.
Fall is definitely here and everything is going dormant.....I am ready to go dormant for a bit.

I declare that fall is upon us. Week #8
It's been really pleasant this week with the cooler temps and cold nights.
The leaves on the trees are turning and falling. And the nights are getting much longer.
That means that the growing season is quickly coming to an end....To be honest I am looking forward to a little break.

Greens are what is Happening! Week #7
Yep, get ready for loads of greens in the last part of the season.
The tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers are really winding down in the hoop house and you will see dwindling quantities of those items in the coming weeks.

Made it Through the storm! Week #6
Well the farm made it through the cold and snow last week!
Unfortunately some crops were lost. 98% of the summer squash and zucchini did not make and the green bean plants also got frozen out. The most severe forecast never materialized. All in all I am very relieved!
