Hello from Sleepy G Farm!
Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's Sleepy G Pop up shares! It was a good trial run. This week has been full of planning for the upcoming start to our CSA season. We are getting excited to see you!
As a heads up, we have made the decision to move our Thunder Bay pickup location to the CLE grounds for the 2020 summer season. We realize that Wilson and Waverly parks have been beautiful and convenient locations for us but... we know that for 2020 we will nee more space for parking, more space to set up and more space for our members to physically distance. If you are picking up your share in Thunder Bay this summer and fall please find us in the North East corner of the CLE parking lot - way behind where the sports dome was - along the floodway. Our pickup times in Thunder Bay are from 3 to 6pm. Please bring a bag or box to carry your produce home.
We hope the CLE grounds will be convenient for you and as an added bonus, the Thunder Bay Country Market operates at the same time as our pickup for more local goods! Wednesday markets are by pre-order only at the moment. Please visit https://www.thunderbaycountrymarket.com for details.
If you pickup your share at the farm, the times and location are the same. Thursday, Friday or Saturday from 8am to 10pm. Your share will be pre-packed and labeled with your name on it in our walk-in cooler. Please sanitize your hands before opening the door. Thank you!
This week's pop up includes options to get a fresh loaf of baked bread or frozen bake-at-home croissants from Bakeshop on Boundary. We also have fresh roasted coffee beans available from Rose n' Crantz!
Much of our items this week are the same as last but we are patiently waiting for our peas, beans, beets, carrots, spinach, tomatoes and lots more to ripen and be ready for your kitchen!
