Hello!
We've finally got carrots! Their growth has been so slow this year and they are still really small but I'm excited to get into the field and harvest some of these for you this week.
We've also got heaps of broccoli. Broccoli plants typically produce one main head followed by a few side shoots. Our plants this year are producing waaaaay more side shoots than typical, so we are very fortunate to have lots to go around. I'm thinking that we will treat these the same as we do our potatoes and put a container in the bin and you can fill it with side shoots.
Also, Blake from Prairie Gold has a lot of new offerings this week that I'm adding to the extras list.
