Well, this is the last week of our summer food box program. This was my eighth season farming, and it was by far the best. We had an abundance of delicious produce, we were able to offer you lots of variety and many options for customization, and my farm team and I had so much fun doing this for you. Thanks so much for your support. I hope that you were able to positively transform your eating habits and you found this a sound investment. I'm also hopeful that you will join us again next year.
The weather in the next 10 days will dictate if we are able to run a fall/winter program, but the prospects are looking good. This is an additional program that will be a chance for you to pick up vegetables bi-weekly from sometime around the end of October to mid December. I'll keep you posted as pick up dates, crops, and prices becomes clear. If you know right now that you would like a spot, reply to this email and I will hold a spot for you.
I'm including a blurb here about our auto renew program that I shared last week. I want to make sure that everyone is aware of it because if you take no action you will have a charge on your credit card on November 1st to renew your membership for next year.
As a way to make participating in this program easier for you next year your account is set to auto-renew for next summer. You will be auto-renewed on November 1st and you will be billed 25% of the total cost in order to hold your spot. If you are not interested in getting a food box with Steel Pony Farm, or want to pay in full instead of using a payment plan making changes is easy. Log into your Harvie account, click “My Profile” and then “Edit Profile”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a checkbox along with the payment options (pay in full or payment plan). Please make your selection to auto-renew or not by Sunday, October 28th so we know if we should hold your spot in the share.
If you would like to participate next year but would prefer a different share size, frequency, or pick up location, simply go to https://www.harvie.farm/signup/steel-pony-farm and make your selection.
