Farm Happenings for August 11, 2021
This week we will be planting daikon and watermelon radishes, as well as the humble and under loved purple top turnip. Last week saw fall broccoli and cauliflower get planted.

Farm Happenings for July 31, 2021
We are sad to report that we are in a salad mix shortage for a couple of weeks. With the heavy rain we lost one bed completely, and another was damaged. The one that was damaged was surrounded with water and when the water drained away the bed basically just sank. No more nice straight rows. 1 read more »

Hope your are doing well. We are super pleased to announce as of July 12th plot B is 100% planted! This is the first time in the history of Strawberry Lane Produce that all of Plot B has been planted. There are 4 beds to replant at Plot A and everything will be planted.

Farm Happenings for July 10, 2021
There were a lot of first for the season this week. The picture is of the first okra flower. We just learned this season that okra flowers are edible. Cherry tomatoes are growing fast and loading up with tomatoes. There is also basil and lettuce in there with them. When the lettuce is done it will be replace with a short growing tomato that has a high resistance to Late Blight that will carry us through into the Fall with slicing tomatoes. It is1 read more »

We found little beans today. The cucumber, tomatoes and zucchini liking this heat and humidity. The sweet Spanish onions are really sizing up and should be ready soon. Tomato season is fast approaching! We found a few of these golden orbs right on the edge of ripeness. The first planting of snap peas is all but done. Don't worry there will be more. The cucumbers and zucchinis are warming up to replace them. The beans are starting to get flowers. read more »
