Please note: The CSA pickup is on Monday from 5-7 PM and is located at Market Park (245 E Omaha Street) or the farm itself. Please bring a bag or box to transfer your produce into when you arrive.
Well, we survived the first CSA pickup. Thank you all for your patience! Overall, it went off pretty smoothly. When you arrive to pickup your box, feel free to find your share and grab it. We would love to visit with as many of you as possible, but we understand that some of you are trying to make it home so, please don't feel like you have to wait on us. Just, PLEASE make sure that the box has your name on it and not someone else's!
Deidre has been working this week on getting our tomato plants pruned and trellised. This is an ongoing job throughout the rest of the season, but it will get faster once all of the lines are up and the plants are initially trellised. Matt has done a great job getting the packing shed functional just in time for the CSA. We are relieved at having the extra space to move around and pack. That's a lot of boxes to wash, stack, and pack each week!
