Our eggplants is finally producing. It's so fun to see the plants thrive in this heat. We wish everything performed so well in such conditions! We also are wishing we would have planted more heat-loving plants, like sweet potatoes and okra.

About the farm
Tobias Garden LLC is a small, family operated vegetable farm located in the foothills of the Black Hills in Western South Dakota. We grow a wide variety of produce on anywhere between 1-2 acres. Some of our specialty crops include salad greens, tomatoes, green beans and carrots. Our passion is growing food that helps to develop the health of the consumer. This includes farming practices void of harmful chemicals and growing in a manner that is sustainable for our land and family. Most of the work is completed by hand...we are truly caretakers of the land.
