Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Winter, Week 49&50, May 2
---- First Herbs, Last Bread ----
We are just starting Herbs - chives, oregano and rosemary. A limited quantity to pick from. If you don't see any available this time, more will show up next delivery. And we are finishing up with bread, with a limited amount left. Bread was a welcome additon during the winter season, and we'll do that again next winter!
---- Planting Everyday! ----
Temperatures are finally reasonable, and soil is ready to go. We planted seeds and transplants over the last 4 days. This week looks dry as well, so we'll keep going. Spring is now actually lagging behind a little. I saw some asparagus poking up, but it will be slow until we get that nice warm spring rain that makes everything pop!
