Tumbleweed Farm Happenings for September 22, 2021-LAST WEEK OF THE SEASON

Posted on September 18th, 2021 by Scott Kosiba

Tumbleweed Family,

Summer is officially over in our books and we're closing up shop for the year. It has been an absolute pleasure bringing you and the rest of Sublette County the produce you deserve all summer long. We can't wait for next season!

This season has been a study in small farm logistics and supply chain management to be sure! We appreciate your flexibility as we've navigated a challenging season for our farmers dealing with drought and unpredictable weather.

A few final wrap-up notes for you:

Tumbleweed crates: If you received any of your shares in a black or beige plastic crate at any time during the season, we'd love those back! Feel free to leave them outside if you're a home delivery member or drop them off at your pick-up location. Thanks for helping us wrangle those boxes back.

Tomatoes: Wow, this was quite the challenging year for tomatoes. Colorado heat and hail did a number on us. If you were supposed to receive tomatoes as a standalone share or just in your share last week, we've credited your Harvie account for the amount missing.

Thanks again for being a part of our family this season. We hope to see you in June 2022!

Scott and Madeline, Tumbleweed Farms
