Livesay Orchards is harvesting Gala and Jonathon apples this week! Most people think of apples as a fall fruit, but they're actually a staple of late summer, along with melons and peppers. Galas are slightly sweet, and Jonathons are a little tart (they're a customer favorite.) All of the apples from Livesay Orchards are a world different from what you've had from a big box store - sometimes they're unrecognizable, in a good way.
