Hi Folks, Thanks to almost everyone who remembered to exchange your CSA box this week. If you did forget, you could drop it off sometime during the week if possible. The produce boxes cost us $3 each so we'll have to add that to your CSA eventually so that we can replace missing boxes for our wholesale orders to schools, institutions and contributions to food banks.
For this week, well be adding a few extras like maple syrup from Glabach's Sugarhouse and Honeycrisp apples from Green Mountain Orchards. Pickup days will be Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 2 pm this week due to the holiday. We'll be monitoring the temperatures in the greenhouses with the cold blast coming in after the snow storm. While we only received around an inch, areas close by got 6 or 7 inches. All is well in the greenhouses so the fresh, organic produce will keep on coming! See you soon.
