Counting this week, we have four more weeks of the main season CSA. Folks keep asking, so I'd better get it out there that the last day for the CSA is Oct 22nd to 24th and the winter CSA (for those of you who've signed up) will begin the following week.
So what about the 2021 season? Glad you asked! We're getting set up to open up registration for next year. We're blessed to have been sold out for the 2020 season and we are maintaining the 2021 summer season CSA membership at the current level, so we'll only be taking on new members to replace any of y'all who decide not to renew next year. We'll be in communication with you about how to sign up for the 2021 season soon. The goal will be to open up signups for the 2021 summer CSA in late October to you all and then to the waitlist people in the beginning of November. There will be more communication about this so stay tuned!
This week, we've got more fresh-cured sweet potatoes, fresh dug carrots and the first of the ginger harvest. The ginger continues to grow bigger the longer it is in the ground so these first roots may be relatively small and grow as we harvest fresh each week. We're watching the weather closely about the cool-down approaching. We may be putting out our floating frost blankets to protect some crops this week. You might want to watch out for your potted plants!
Thanks for enjoying the autumn with us! Have a great week!
