Final Winter CSA Delivery

Posted on April 15th, 2023 by Dave Redfearn

The winter season is coming to an end.  We thank you for being one of our stalwart winter members.  We hope we've kept you in your quest to eat fresh and healthy throughout the cold and dreary winter months.  This is our final pickup for the season.

The summer season starts April 27th.  If you aren't sure if you have signed up, you can just go here www.harvie.farm/login and go to the "deliveries" tab.  If you don't see a whole bunch of future dates beyond this current date, then you aren't signed up for summer.  No worries though, you can still sign up by going here: https://www.harvie.farm/farm/where-the-redfearn-grows-natural-farm/signup

Again, thanks for winter membership.  If you want to make sure not to miss out on next winter, you can go here: https://www.harvie.farm/account/subscription and make sure autorenew is set to "on".  We'll run the autorenew process for the winter season sometime in late September for the winter 2023-24 season.  If you're settings are set to "on" at that time, then since you have a winter membership now, you'll be automatically enrolled in the winter season again.  If this is not your intention, make sure you set that to "off" now.

Gorgeous Weather!

We've been very thankful for some beautiful spring days lately, which has made working out in the fields a pleasure.  If you've been out to the farm lately, you might have seen some changes out front where cover crops have been turned under and plants have gone into the ground.  We have far more broccolini in the ground than ever before, close to 3,000, so we hope the cool weather holds on for a while so we can enjoy those early on in the summer  season.  Things are off to a slow start because of the cool March, but we hope this means hot summer weather will also be delayed so we can enjoy our cool season crops a little later this year.
