Can you believe it? The first CSA box is here! I want to thank you for signing up! I hope you and your families are healthy and staying sane in these weird times. We are super excited about this years CSA!
Mother nature was not kind to us for the month of April and the first half of May. The wet, cold weather limited planting in the field, and late frosts hurt crops that started to grow. But, that's farming and we adapt to mother nature and pivot our focuses constantly to stay ahead. Thankfully we have a few greenhouses that have some beautiful lettuces, swiss chard, and kale for you!
Also, many people have reached out with interest in starting gardens, planting their own vegetables and flowers. I wish it was becasue of different circumstances but extremely happy people are taking the steps to grow their own food. At our farmstand we have a ton of vegetable plant starts, perfect for your garden. We also have many flowers to beautify your yard. Did I mention we grow over 50 different kinds of herbs? Stop on by the stand to check everything out!
Lastly, if you haven't filled out the preferences please do that. This way you get the veggies you like.
