We hope you had a great Christmas!! Santa was good to us but mother nature on the other hand had different ideas for us. She took the plastic off our high tunnel greenhouse that has our winter kale and swiss chard in it soooo that was fun waking up to on Christmas day, plus part of a roof got blown off one of our barns.
One of our big hits at our Christmas meals was the cocktail sauce that was made from Holyschmitts Horseradish and the honey from Sweet Sophies that was drizzled on some fruit. I highly recommend adding these to your boxes or getting extras to have and give out as a gift!
This week we will have Goodales farm Goat milk as an option, as well their cow milk, butter, and cheeses. I will be honest with you, I'm not a goat milk fan even though it has crazy health benefits. However, we drink lots and lots of Goodales Cow milk! Its as real as it gets, and we know where it came from and who processed it and something about having fresh local milk in our fridge brings us back to the stories our parents would tell us about the milk man coming through with fresh milk.
Next week we will have more local products to offer that we are extremely excited for!
Have a great week!
